I wish I could properly give tobacco reviews. Just let me say that this on surprised me. I purchased an ounce just to give it a try and I found I like it a lot. It’s an English that I don’t think smokes like an English. You can smell the Latakia from the bag, but it very rarely comes through as you smoke it…it is VERY subtle. I find it burns cool with a subtle sweetness to it. It is a ribbon cut that lights easily and stays lit with no problems. The Latakia is definitely in the background and overpowering in the least…but it is there. And it stays true through the whole bowl. I honestly with I could give a better review on the taste, but I can’t really describe it other than I like it. The room note is very good.
Like I said, it seems to me like it smokes like an aromatic without being an aromatic. I can only take so much of a traditional English blend, but this one I can see myself smoking year round. I would definitely recommend giving this one a try.
