When J.M. Boswell was preparing to open his new shop location in Alexandria, PA, I was driving by on my regular travels along U.S. Route 22 and noticed the activity. Excited to see a custom pipe tobacco shop in our area I immediately turned in to the parking lot. J.M. greeted me with a big handshake and said, “we are not open yet but come on in anyway”. Leaving that day with a fresh bowl of fine tobacco and new friend, I knew I would be returning. One of the first things J.M. did upon opening was to offer a new blend, Boswell Route 22. With my preference to toasted Cavendish and the blend of butterscotch and vanilla, I found this a very satisfying and pleasurable smoke. It is a cool, gentle and smooth smoke that brings out the flavor of the burly and soft finish. You will always find Boswell Route 22 in my bag of fine pipe tobacco blends.

Route 22 is one of my favorite blends and I think it deserves more recognition. It is a great flavor, great aroma, and burns cool and dry. Great blend
