This mixture is made with 51% genuine St. James Parish Perique as well as a supporting cast of C&D’s proprietary Red Virginia Cavendish and a whisper of Dark-Fired Kentucky to add complexity and balance. The whole blend is steeped in rum for seven days to deepen the flavors, offering pronounced umami notes with elements of sweet stone fruits, mesquite wood, and freshly cracked black pepper.
