Description

The sixth and final installment of the Diesel Sunday Gravy series. It’s called Porcellino and is a 6 x 52 toro that uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan habano binder grown in the Pueblo Nuevo region, while the filler contains Nicaraguan habano leaves. The blend was developed by Justin Andrews, business development manager of Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s (STG) North American Branded and Rest of World divisions, along with Abdel Fernandez of AJ Fernandez, which produced the cigar at its factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. A press release describes the blend as full-bodied.

The cigar gets its name from I1 Porcellino, the famous fountain of a female wild boar that is located in Florence, Italy, and which has been copied numerous times and installed in locations around the world. Il Porcellino is the local nickname for the sculpture and means “little pig.”

The Diesel Sunday Gravy line debuted in August 2021 with San Marzano, and has since added Pecorino, Rosamarino, Gabagool and Grappa. The line offers seasonally released, Nicaraguan-forward cigars that are blended by Andrews and Fernandez. The blends have been released on a quarterly basis, sold until their supply is deleted

The cigars come in one size, a Toro that measures 6 x 56  ring gauge.

Sold by the Box of 10 so you can Share them or keep them all to your self!
