Gently Smoked – 2011 J.M. Boswell Fluted Nose Warmer
A mighty smoke that J.M. has been crafting since 1976. J.M. has a fondness for naming his pipes. I asked J.M. why he named this a Nose-Warmer, this was over 25 years ago when we first went on the internet, I needed to type up a pipe descriptions about this unique Boswell pipe that J.M. had made in order to sell on our Pipes for Sale page on our website. J.M. had explained he named it a Nose-Warmer pipe well it makes my nose warm, when I smoke it. Hence the Nose-Warmer!
Natural finish buff to a glossy shine, just gorgeous.
This particular pipe exemplifies some birds-eye grain.
WITH each and every Boswell pipe made, the airway is hand bored (not using a lathe). This is why the air passage way will always provide the smoker with a full draw and allows for a fuller smoother smoke. J.M. finds the old fashion way of doing so completes his pipes.
