THIS hand carved Black Coal Poker, features well pronounced deep hand rustication texture with a coal black finish. Rusticated by hand the old world way, with a fine wood chisel. Every gouge-cut has to be just right.
ULTRA-thick walls of even thickness all around the entire circumference, waiting to be loaded with your favorite tobacco!
Smooth briarwood Shank and bottom.
EACH individual piece of briar determines the eventual shape of the pipe in the hands of J.M. Boswell. He doesn’t plan or draw out what he is making, he just reaches for a block of briarwood and starts cutting and shaping. His whole heart and soul is in crafting these pipes.
