Weathered Stone finish covers this handsome looking, whose bowl is surrounded with fine precise tight rustication. Highly skilled in the art of briar craftsmanship, J.M. has taken this briar bowl and has developed his own way of using old style tools. Turning this bowl into an incredible textured hand carved finish, that has a carefully-highlighted stain that provides the pipe with a subdued, rustic elegance.
Smooth briarwood shank
EACH individual piece of briar determines the eventual shape of the pipe in the hands of J.M. Boswell. He doesn’t plan or draw out what he is making, he just reaches for a block of briarwood and starts cutting and shaping. His whole heart and soul is in crafting these pipes.
