Named in honor of Balanzone, a rotund and inept doctor of law, the line comprises a single shape: Savinelli’s iconic 320 KS Author. The plump and portly shape is paired to a uniquely stylized stem of vibrant white acrylic that’s accented with a wavering band of black acrylic at the base, evocative of the ruffled collar that doctor Balanzone wears on stage. Available in both a warm, natural stain and a dark, inky rustication, this smooth piece is rich with contrast and handsome grain.
