GLOSSY natural finish covers the bowl, easily showing off the detailed flame and birds-eye grain that can be seen covering the faceted bowl.
PHENOMENAL in-hand feel when holding this bowl in your hand; your fingers may uniquely fit into the deep faceted carving depending on the size of your hand.
RUGGED burl plateaux can be seen along the crown and end of the shank, meticulously highlighted to showcase the briar’s gorgeous natural look.

USING a high-powered magnifying glass, there may be a few natural imperfections.
WITH each and every Boswell pipe made, the airway is hand-bored (not using a lathe). This is why the airway will always provide the smoker with a full draw and allow for a fuller, smoother smoke. J.M. finds that the old-fashioned way of doing so completes his pipes.
EACH individual piece of briar determines the eventual shape of the pipe in the hands of J.M. Boswell. He doesn’t plan or draw out what he is making; he just reaches for a block of briarwood and starts cutting and shaping. His whole heart and soul are in crafting these pipes. It’s truly amazing to watch.
