“The Devil’s Cut pipe, inspired by a whiskey cask, enjoys cult status. Demand exceeds the limited supply, since the shortage of large briar blocks means we only receive very small quantities, which sell out quickly. A solution was needed.
In 2024, we therefore introduced this sought-after model for the first time in an olive wood version. Over time, its brushed surface develops an extraordinary patina with a vivid relief. But then we had another idea: in the same year, working together with a German manufacturer, we developed a heat-resistant insert made of pressed carbon – an innovation that opens up completely new possibilities.
This graphite cone is neutral in taste and smell and can be cleaned effortlessly. Building up a carbon layer is no longer necessary. And best of all: the pipe never becomes hot.“
