Created in April 2015 in honor of our 35th Anniversary, Blend 35 is hand blended with loose cut burley, golden cavendish, and a touch of fire-cured cavendish. The result is a light, mild, slow-burning smoke with just a hint of sweetness.

Blend 35 is a wonderful mix that brings memories of a simpler time to the forefront of the mind.
I personally enjoy the sweeter end of aromatics, as such, this blend is not my personal favorite, however it might be yours! I do respect and admire this blend as a great example of quality ingredients and the thoughtful blending that I’ve come to expect from Boswell. Personal taste aside, I will say that this is a very fine smokable blend for persons who enjoy the taste of wood fired cavendish, it is very pronounced and carries its flavor from top to bottom of the bowl. The quality of the ingredients again, speak quite clearly during the smoke with all of the excellent burning qualities of top shelf pipe tobacco. I appreciate that this blend does not try to be anything that it is not, it offers simple flavors and quality aromas in the areas that it sets out to acheive. While I was smoking this blend I couldn’t help but think about how complex things in our modern world have become, this blend reminded me that simple can be enjoyable, relaxing and nastalgic. A reminder that life is only as complex as we wish to make it.
