For someone who enjoys most English bends, this was unchartered waters for me. I was hesitant. I was wrong. It’s light, sweet,…& good! Smells like cake – which is a good thing. Smoked it all night without any tongue bite. I’d suggest it for a beginning pipe smoker or a veteran like myself.

Before I tried this blend, Christmas cookie was my favorite but this stuff takes the cake. Cupcake that is !

Second time ordering this and it was even better than the first batch which I find hard to believe but it was. I just finished a bag of Sutcliffe vanilla custard and tropical sunset which I had between both batches of cupcake and besides soaking wet the flavor doesn’t even rate to cupcake. Not even close. I am now convinced that this is going to be my daily go to smoke. Keep it up JM and Dan. Great job.

Everyone loves the smell of this tobacco. It is somewhat light -never a bite-and buttery might be a good descriptio of what I get from it. I love it but its been out of my rotation (which is exclusively Boswell) for a time as it is just a bit light…

Sweet, sweet, sweet, such an amazing pipe smoking experience. I sampled a few aromatics before, but this one “takes the cake,” for real. I’ll be sure to update if I find a better aromatic pipe tobacco.

For me, this is a mild, sweet, buttery smoke. I really enjoy it, but my wife doesn’t like the smell. I’ve had it in my rotation for 15 years, so was a little bit sad to have to let it go.

When I first lit my pipe of Boswell Cupcake I was not immediately impressed. I found it vanilla forward and kind of heady. But after a few days I found myself thinking about it and realizing I wanted more. Happy to say my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th pipes have been absolutely delicious. There’s a ton of vanilla, with subtle hints of buttercream and cake that show up the longer you puff especially with smaller sips of smoke. The tobacco flavor underneath is fantastic and compliments the vanilla so well. My bag was very damp so I let it dry out for an hour or so before I pack my pipe. Even now after smoking 2 pipes this morning, I’m thinking of another as I type. Definitely a must try for anyone who loves sweets and loves aromatics that still let the tobacco flavor shine.
