Reproductions of Original Clay Pipe English
The British dominated the tobacco trade in the 18th Century and flooded the market with
“English” style pipes. These London-made pipes featured bigger bowls and were popular from 1700 to 1760. In fact, this exact style was found on Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s Revenge which sank off the North Carolina coast in 1718. Queen Anne’s Revenge Shipwreck Project (2007)). The English is handmade in Pennsylvania using the 18th Century methods
Note these are a Reproduction so they do have some flaws not completely smooth but are handmade from molds
